How The System Works: Pistol Grip and Lever Style Handles for Flexbar 3-Point Bore Gage Systems

1 — Gage Head
The interchangeable measuring head that contacts the bore.

2 — Pistol Grip Handle
Ergonomic handle that houses the mechanism and connects to heads.

3 — Indicator
Digital or dial indicator for reading measurement output.

4 — Master Setting Ring
Used to preset and verify measurement accuracy.

• Appropriate range of Triga-Bore 3-Point Bore Gage heads.

• Triga-Bore Pistol Grip Handle - accepts indicators with ⅜” dia. stem or 8mm dia. (with included bushing).

• Special stand for holding Pistol Grip

Groove/”O” Ring Groove Measurements

Precise groove measurements are made easily and accurately. Application requirements are groove width minimum of .060” (1.5mm). Groove depth may not exceed half the travel range of the True-Bore head.

Spherical or Deep Bore Measurements

Groove/”O” Ring Groove Measurements

Spherical shaped heads are useful in deep bores where holding the bore gage straight in the bore is difficult. The spherical shape allows only a single contact point per anvil on the bore wall.
